I accidentally disabled traction control during a clock spring replacement. It's been great, I no longer get stuck in 1" deep hard pack snow. My blizzaks now work almost as well as they have on any 2WD car I've driven. Ive driven in mountain snow for 40+ years, the gen 3's slip control is terrible. I love ABS but the total lack of torque when one wheel is slipping a little is a horrible design flaw. I heard the transaxle maybe stressed if there's a large torque differential between the left and right wheels. I plan to be gentle when accelerating on slippery roads. 🤞 At least we don't get stuck anymore 🎉 🥳

You could do a test weld before you do the seams with scrap to make sure your robot/dog/walk behind.whatever you want to call it is set right.that way you aren't cutting holes in your new roof

Great video, thank you so much. Leo that post had a big crack in it. Water will eventually leak through the crack and down under the membrane. You could solve that problem by adding some wood filler or epoxy or bondo and seal it.

Dont do this, engine runs always, but can damage and overheat transaxle. Use certification mode. Same procedure, you just press accel pedal 3 times vs his 2 times, end result is the same, all traction control is off, but engine runs normal, will shut off and on like any hybrid

Love the underlayment and the vertical strips to provide weeping of metal condensation. Trying to get a metal roof, but everyone with a shortcut. Archetectural shingles a glue fest. What a mess.

Yall need to do a 2 pass and you can cut up 2 rectangles to weld and check the robot to make sure it's welding properly instead of cutting a hole in your roof but all in all the worse this I see is fucking tennis shoes yall need some boots

It's not tar. It's roofing cement. One thing. Don't put the gravel back until the "roofing cement " flashes off a bit.

Why can't the laminates be bonded to a secondary panel and mount clip the panel to the roof between the seams, to overcome any ribbing? Assuming the panel/laminate fits between the standing seams
